Privacy policy

Fancy Last Names has no accounts and asks for no personal details.

What stays on your device

To make the site work, your browser stores three things in its local storage, on your device only:

• your shortlist (the names you tapped the heart on);
• the first name you typed to try names with;
• your light or dark theme choice, if you picked one.

These are never sent to us. You can clear them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

What we collect

Today the site uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, processes the technical data every website request needs (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Changes

If we add analytics or advertising, we will update this page before they go live, name each service and what it collects, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
